This actually a pretty well documented fact in software development. The question is though does it really give a big enough return? The cost of development doesn't generally depend on how many developers you have, nor does extra hands always speed up development either. It should be in the iterative optimization phase of improving their product but they're seemingly focused on the wrong things to actually drive growth and/or improve functionality for their core customer. Panorama UI (or any UI improvement), a proper stats/"my history" section and MM improvements (cheating, tickrate, stats integration, unranked) should be among the top of the priority list.ĬS shouldn't try to reinvent itself, it's had tremendous success for a reason.
